A familiar piece, a different perspective. Seen from above, Rico’s Ancient Blue1 Rico-Handle Mug becomes a study in shape, depth, and the relationship between vessel and handle.
This photographic print offers a fresh look at a handmade stoneware piece whose ancient-blue glaze and rugged XTRUFF™ exterior give it the feeling of something unearthed. The overhead composition invites you to pause and appreciate the pottery as a sculptural form, beyond its everyday purpose.
Display it on its own or alongside the first two Ancient Blue1 prints for three perspectives on the same piece.
“I wish I could keep it.” — Rico, on the original mug
