Some pieces deserve a second look. This photographic print offers another view of Rico’s Ancient Blue1 Rico-Handle Mug, celebrating the character of a handmade piece the artist found hard to part with.
Its ancient-blue glaze and rugged XTRUFF™ texture suggest something unearthed rather than newly made. Seen from a different angle, the same piece offers a fresh way to appreciate the meeting of clay, glaze, and sculptural form.
Display it on its own or alongside the first Ancient Blue1 print as two perspectives on the same ceramic work.
“I wish I could keep it.” — Rico, on the original mug
This listing is for a photographic paper print, not the ceramic mug. Frame not included.
