Some pieces are hard for an artist to part with. Rico's Ancient Blue1 mug was one of them. This photographic print brings the character of that handmade stoneware piece to your wall.
Blue-green glaze settles into a rugged, richly textured surface, giving the mug the feel of something ancient, unearthed rather than newly made. Against soft pink fabric, its sculptural Rico-Handle and weathered-looking details invite a closer look.
Place it in a favorite reading corner, studio, or kitchen to enjoy the artistry of handmade pottery in a different form.
“I wish I could keep it.” — Rico, on the original mug
